FAQ
Common questions
Old regime or new regime — which saves me more tax?+
It depends on your actual deductions — HRA, home-loan interest, 80C, 80D, NPS, LTA. We run both calculations on your real numbers and recommend the optimal regime for the year. Revisit annually because rules and slabs keep changing.
How do I report crypto and F&O income?+
Crypto gains go under 'Capital Gains' — Schedule VDA (Virtual Digital Asset) — with cost and sale consideration disclosed even on a single trade. F&O and intraday equity are business income — ITR-3 with P&L, balance sheet and turnover for tax-audit applicability. We prepare both correctly.
I missed the 31 July deadline — what now?+
File a belated return under section 139(4) by 31 December — with a late fee of ₹1,000–₹5,000 under 234F plus interest under 234A/B/C. We help you file it correctly, claim eligible deductions, and minimise the interest and penalty exposure.
